I built Rekova because I lived this problem every day for five years.
For the last five years, I've worked inside a med spa on Long Island, running the retention playbook by hand. We tracked follow-ups in a Google Sheet. We texted clients one by one. We asked for reviews at the counter. Over time, the clinic's Google presence grew from 30 reviews to 315 — catching up to spas that had used Birdeye for a decade.
It worked. But it was brutal. And I knew most med spas couldn't run what we ran — they didn't have the time, the team, or the obsession for it.
So I spent the last year building the platform I wished we'd had in 2019. Rekova is what happens when you take a retention workflow that's been proven inside a real clinic and systematize it. Every decision in the product comes from running these plays myself — not from theorizing about them.
